Rockstar Tambourine Workout

A few months ago I found myself envying Noelle Scaggs perfectly sculpted arms. I had never heard of her band, Fitz and the Tantrums but was quickly dancing and singing. Her energy was contagious!  I'm always on the hunt for a new arm workout.  I dread working my arms, Pilates and Bar Method help but I always feel like I have to do extra cardio after.  So when I'm pressed for time I run which doesn't do much for your arms other than make em' jiggle. I was lucky enough to have dinner tonight with the fitness instructor queen of Orange County, Cat Myklebust.  I'm hoping she can whip up a little something so we can pretend like we are rockstars while tightening up our arms. If you live in OC check out her classes, she will kick your butt!

By now, most of you have heard their songs on the radio and this week they are offering a free download for "Don't Gotta Work it Out".  It's an awesome workout song, perfect for your maintenance runs while training for a half or full marathon. Malibu is only 3 weeks away!  EEEK!

Back in Newport

We have a pop-up shop at Equinox Newport Beach today.  I'm staying with friends and having dinner here, if it's anything like it's sibling Bandera I will love it!  Lunch break workout here.  Check out Newport Beach next time you are in Los Angeles.  Much more low-key than busy-body Los Angeles and not as far as a trek as San Diego.

Newport Dreaming

TDH and I are heading up to Newport tomorrow morning.  We are attending a wedding on Sunday (3rd in 9 days, not joking) but we going up early to stay with friends we met on our honeymoon.  I'm excited for duffy rides, Sperry top-siders and anything and everything nautical.
