Drift 3 - Big Red Valentines Day

TDH and I usually stay in for Valentine's Day and make a three course dinner.  But that doesn't mean I can't dress up all sexy.  Whether you are having a sunset picnic, breakfast in bed or a night out without the kids this Tuesday try to branch out from your normal attire.  I love wearing red, it's an instant mood-lifter.  I may have gained the nickname BIG RED from dancing on top of tables in a bright red prom dress while living in New York City but we'll leave that story for another post.  What color are you planning on wearing for Valentine's Day?

1st Annual Scarf Party Inspiration

I spent a good amount of time pinning and gojee-ing this weekend looking for inspiration for the week's festivities.  I am hosting a "Scarf Party" at my house.  What might that entail . . . I invited all the girls over to celebrate the holidays, sip Cava and shop our Borelli Scarves.  I'm considering it my company holiday party.  A fancy dinner for one sounds dreadful compared to a night with your closest girlfriends. 

The goal is to to turn our living room into a sparkly winter land boutique.   I'm really digging the rope lights out there this season, they give off the perfect amount of soft light.
