Iphoneography in Pacific Beach

TDH, the Frenchies and I take a weekly sunset walk on the beach.  We live in a 1940's house on the cusp of Pacific Beach and Bird Rock.  I snapped this photo on my iphone of a surfer right after he hopped out of the ocean.  I then edited and added filters using Camera+.  Which one is your favorite?

I'm relatively new to the iphone, TDH and I switched from the Droid a few months ago.  A huge difference is the camera, the clarity is amazing. One of my favorite apps so far has been Camera +. Here are a few shots from the weekend, all edited in Camera +.

Cinnamon, Nutella and Soy Latte

Rise and shine!  Satisfy your sugar cravings today with this tasty latte.  Easy to make, easy to drink and way less of a sugar crash than a bag full of maltodextrin, yellow 5, blue 6, fake sugar candy.

1-2 shots of espresso or 1 c coffee
1/2 c soy, almond or coconut milk
a dash of cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutella

1.  Make the espresso or coffee as you heat up the milk over the stove
2.  Whisk in cinnamon
3.  Whisk in nutella until it melts and you make the milk froth up
4.  Pour milk mixture over espresso or coffee and savor each sip

*If you don't like coffee this would also be good with Rooibos tea.

Cabo Day 7

lunch at Mango Deck - tasty fresh seafood soup and guacamole - hilarious announcers, people watching and employees - hot tub sunset - dinner at Cilantros - grilled tofu and veggies - a much needed break from fried food - at the airport I ran into the friends I made on the Jungle Cruise - only slightly embarrassing - I'm going to miss you Cabo

Cabo Day 5/6

- SUP - with plenty of sun protection - hat - BORELLI scarf - somehow didn't fall - catching a glimpse of the armed guards almost made me topple over
- Sleeping under the stars - I wish everyone could live close enough to the ocean and listen to waves crash every night - hot tub champagne toasts 
- Beach football - beach frisbee - homemade pina coladas
- Dinner at The Medano - dancing to a live band in the sand with our new Brazilian friends - took me hours to crack 3 tiny local blue crabs - oceanfront dining - highly recommended
- Celebrating my 29th birthday aboard the sunset Jungle Cruise (only 1 more year left to make my goal of 30 by 30 - nicknamed Mermaid - started dance parties - surrendered iphone because their music selection was slacking - jungle juice 
- Enjoy the weekend - we are heading back to San Diego tomorrow - safe travels everyone
